Local governments are increasing their use of purpose-built AI assistants that learn directly from their internal records and official enterprise data. In the last 18 months, nearly 50 agencies have enlisted Madison AI to support their daily administrative tasks, research, and report writing.
The Madison AI platform connects a government’s enterprise systems and internal documents into purpose-built AI assistants for the major internal administrative functions in local government. These assistants assist staff and elected officials in completing repetitive, document-heavy tasks with accuracy and consistency. Work tasks include preparing staff reports, completing zoning verification letters, drafting RFPs, and supporting a board or council’s decision-making process.
